Kastenwagen is German for "Panel Van", and this year, we will translate a decade of Benchmark Vehicles’ elite Sprinter van engineering into the most capable, thermally-efficient, and off-grid ready Chassis Cab on the market. Built on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 4cyl turbo Diesel with an Off Grid Customs box.
Our expansion from traditional van conversions to the chassis cab is a natural evolution. Benchmark is excited to apply our expertise in van build engineering to this platform - our custom-caliber precision has become our hallmark, this fourth chassis in our lineup will reflect that.
The market is shifting, and while other outfits have rushed to crowd this market, Benchmark is stepping in to redefine the category. The first Kasten build is currently underway. We will take you with us on the journey as it happens - no AI substitutions or made-up illustrations. Just the real thing, built by our craftsmen.

Boasting interior dimensions of 176” in length, 82” width and 82” standing height, there is ample room to stretch out. The above cab storage alcove is 36” long, 82” wide and 16” tall.
